Volunteer with the IDES PTO
Attend a meeting, join a committee, or volunteer at an event - there are many ways to get involved, and all are welcome. We love, need, and celebrate every person who shows up for IDES.
No dues, no membership forms. Every IDES family and staff member is already part of the PTO - just show up and help where you can.
Meetings
PTO meetings are open to everyone. We meet throughout the school year to share updates, make decisions, and plan events together. Pizza and childcare are provided. Meeting dates are shared via ParentSquare and our newsletter.
Committees
Committees are where the real work happens. We have openings for Hot Chocolate Race coordination and fundraising, staff appreciation, campus clean-up, experiential education (FEAST), Dine 4 Dickson & Go Local Cards fundraising, family/care, IT/communications, family events, FACS representative, and grade level coordinators. Volunteer
We post volunteer sign-ups throughout the year on ParentSquare — watch for PTO event slots as well as requests from teachers for field trips and classroom events. Hot Chocolate Race volunteers sign up through SignUpGenius; the link is shared via ParentSquare and our newsletter a few weeks before race day.
