Four ways to participate
This is IDES PTO's biggest fundraiser and participation is so important. Whether you run, donate, volunteer, or sponsor - there's a way for everyone to be part of this event.
Donate to the Steps Challenge
Support your student's class during the Steps Challenge. Every $100 raised earns the class more toppings for their hot chocolate party. Specify your child's classroom when you give — and share the link widely!
Volunteer on race day
Race day takes a village. We need help with setup, water stations, cheering, finish line, and cleanup. Sign up opens on ParentSquare closer to race day.
Hot Chocolate Warm-up Steps Challenge
Before the race, every classroom in the school gets active. Classrooms compete against each other to get moving and raise money — and the more a class raises, the more hot chocolate party toppings they earn at the end.

Classrooms participate in fitness activities and classroom steps challenge throughout the warm-up period leading up to the race
